An Overview
If you’re looking for a hypnotherapist in Leicestershire, I’d love to have a chat to see if I can help.
Feeling genuinely comfortable with each other is important — you’ll be entrusting me with your care, and I take that responsibility seriously.
People describe me as down-to-earth, approachable, and friendly, with a kind, compassionate, and quirky sense of humour — traits I think are useful in a therapist.
Over the years I’ve trained in many complementary therapies, but I’m most passionate about mind therapies. The mind-body connection is powerful: the way we think can literally influence how we feel.
My work is about helping people change how they feel — about themselves and the world around them. When perspective shifts, reality can shift with it.
Life is a wonderful mystery, and I believe it’s one we should embrace with optimism, hope, and courage.
I feel privileged to walk alongside my clients on their healing journeys, helping them discover their inner resources and strengths to become the best version of themselves.
Qualifications
I first qualified in hypnotherapy in 2005 and retrained in the solution-focused approach in 2015, giving me a wide range of experience and techniques to help you achieve the results you’re looking for.
My Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy (DSFH) was granted by the Clifton Practice in Bristol, a respected nationwide training centre. My Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD) comes from the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), so you can be assured I work to a strict Code of Ethics and high professional standards.
I’m also trained in BWRT — BrainWorking Recursive Therapy. In 2017, I trained directly with Terence Watts, the therapist who developed this therapy. I hold Levels 1 and 2, allowing me to support clients with a wider range of issues.
I’m committed to continual professional development and regularly undertake specialist training to offer the most up-to-date techniques available.

I hold an enhanced DBS Certificate (formerly CRB check), so I am cleared to work safely with children and vulnerable adults.
